Driving around those stupid roundabouts

I have spent some time in England where roundabouts are very common & work very well. They come in various sizes depending on being urban, suburban or rural. The secret of their success is that everyone is familiar with the operation of them & everyone signals their intentions & positions themselves according to where on the roundabout they are going to make their exit.

Another difference between England & N America is the signage which is far superior in England especially for those driving in unfamiliar territory.
