Wow, pretty scary.
I have sleep apnea issues and the first question that they ask is: Do you get sleepy while driving? I used to get very sleepy while driving, but since I now use a CPAP machine that no longer happens.
I don't know anything about your situation, but it certainly helped me. Glad that you were safe.
