In Europe generally they take their driving more seriously than in N America, especially the US. A good vehicle is not measured by how many cup holders it has or how many 12V sources it has.
The outside lane has long been regarded as a passing only lane. If you camp out there somebody will be right up behind you with the lights flashing telling you to get over. A mirror is used for much more than applying makeup on the way to work in the morning.
