"driving" in the left lane. YES it's illegal.

I experienced a right front tire coming apart at over 100 MPH while driving on I-10. Yep, I was in the "hammer lane" breaking at least 4 rules (in a borrowed GTO). I offered to buy that car, but the owner said, "not your fault, I should've had better tires on it".
Today, in my Dutch Star, I set the cruise control on 67 mph, and try to stay out of the left lane.
