Aside from being either just plain smug or ignorant of their surroundings, which should be a punishable offense, lol, the amount of angst and anger and the resulting unsafe actions (passing, cutting others off to get around) makes driving like a dushe in the fast lane more dangerous than the person exceeding the speed limit while in good control of his vehicle and acceptable road conditions.
