RayJayco, excellent summary.
Pnichols, booo
Although I’ve always wondered if the left lane loafers were intentional or just ignorant, and presume it’s stil a mix, but leaning towards intentional more and more after reading this thread!
I have no problem staying out of the left lane(s) - in fact I abhor the speed demon left lane(s) ... mostly because that's where (nearly) all the speed-idiots drive who think that motion physics don't apply to them.
FWIW, read more of my earlier posts ... I drove a sports car for years and have driven one of the wildest ultra-high performance ones ever sold in America for use on public roads. I know how to drive fast - but it's lunacy to do so these days on any U.S. public road.
What ticks me off most is folks who seem to think I'm supposed to drive my 12,000 lb. Class C motorhome at the speed they want to drive their little puddle-jumpers at so as to not slow them down one iota. I can't figure out if their distain for me taking it easy in an RV isn't based on more than a speed based psychosis ... maybe it's based somewhat on sour grapes because they can't have an RV themselves. :h
