OK and while the slower traffic is passing in a reasonable distance the 90+ vehicle can slow up and take his turn. Do not tailgate, do not squeeze by on the right. Just a little courtesy before you get back in the throttle.

That pretty much sums it up. Show everyone courtesy on the road and traffic will flow faster and safer. Make your pass and return to the right lane. Faster traffic maintain your reasonable following distance and continue on after the slower traffic moves over. But this only works if the faster traffic has a reasonable expectation that the slower traffic will actually do this. And judging from many responses on this thread that is not something that will occur. So we are back to the riskier right side passes because who knows if you have someone playing walking tall self appointed enforcer or someone just giving a little more distance before moving over. No different than not cutting through someones campsite. It is just the right thing to do.
