Hmmmm .... #1 IMHO, the bad part about driving in Germany when you are doing 200 kph is driving at 200 kph. #2 IMHO, that's absurd on public roads anywhere on Earth no matter what the vehicle is and what it took for the driver to get their license.
#3 IMHO, the most concerning thing is not that many folks don't want to slow up and smell the roses anymore ... it's that many folks may not even know what roses are anymore.
And yet, as previously posted, the statistics say it’s FAR safer driving in Germany than it is in the US.
So then maybe the ‘absurd’ part is a nation of 222 million licensed drivers who have no follow up education or review of their driving habits.
You get your license at 16 and drive (almost) the rest of your life with nobody following up or checking that you can actually drive in a safe manner!
Wow! Unbelievable!
