So, you're on a highway with a posted speed limit of 65mph and lanes 2,3 & 4 are pacing at that speed. Meanwhile, you are cruising along in lane #1 at 90mph. You look in the rear view mirror and see another vehicle gaining on you quick, doing 110mph. What would do? Would you slow down to 65 and merge into lane #2, or continue cruising at 90, thinking the person behind you is reckless and being a butthead, and continue on your merry way?
Answer honestly!
I'll add to the entertainment, but answer honestly! In this case, it would depend if I am driving my truck, or riding my rocket. If truck, I'd slow, merge into slower lane, to let the "maniac" going 110 mph continue on. If riding my FZ1000, I'd bump up to 115-120 mph, see if he'd take the bait, and how fast is he willing to go. If he is willing to go past 150 mph, which is MY new personal limit, not the bikes, then I'd get out of his way, let him proceed.

^ This. Except I don’t have a crotch rocket......main reason is everytime I get on one I see if I can do a buck fiddy or not. Figured it wouldn’t increase my chances of seeing grandkids in the future, many years ago...lol.
Honestly, I’d slow and get out of the way if I didn’t want to speed up and get out of the way.
Honest question to the slo pokes here. 6am, heading to work (daily). 45-50 mph 2 lane road. 3 of 5 days a week at least, there is someone going 35-40mph holding up traffic. If safe to pass, I leave em in the dust (or rain as the case may be). Sometimes there’s a lineup behind them and have to gut it out for like 5 miles.
The common response after being passed is flipped off, bright lights etc. doesn’t matter if it’s Humberto in a 1979 F100, grandma in a Hunday, or Moonstar in a Suberu.
Who’s wrong in this scenario??
