As others have said, both are very good systems. However, the fact that you have 1650# of tongue weight would make me hesitant to use the EQ system at all. You are 450# over the rating of the bars so I doubt you can achieve the correct amount of weight transfer. I would stick with the DC and bars that are rated for the load.
Likewise, I would also check the ratings on your receiver. If that too is overloaded you may have a weak link the chain that might cause issues.
