dumping fresh water question
I was wondering if there was a proper way to dump the fresh water left in the tank before leaving a campsite. I usually drain on site, but the father in law says not to do that. And he usually takes ...

We have the same amount of water here on earth that was here a million years ago, and will have the same amount a million years from now unless someone starts building some very large space ships and hauling it off to other planets...
Contamination is the potential problem... (We still should conserve water as potable water is not always found where it is needed...)
Anyone that has air conditioning in their vehicle, constantly drops water on the ground when they are using it...
Perhaps some of this water that ends up on windshields comes from someone ahead of you using their windshield washer to remove bugs from their windshield...
