Dumping grey water in large quantities (500 gallons).

Dumping grey water in large quantities (500 gallons).
I have idea to filter grey water before dumping it on the ground.
To be as safe as I can, I can disinfect it by chlorine and then filter it down to 5 microns (0.0002 inches) by numerous filters. For Size comparison, a human red blood cell is about 5 microns across. A human hair is about 75 microns across

Let’s assume filtered water being disposed in BLM, what is likelihood of some law enforcement gives me hard time?
If you pour this water into glass, it will be clear. Technically can be used to wash RV or something like that.

  • why would you ever need to dump 500 gallons at once? if you're dry camping in the sticks, just leave the gray valve cracked a bit, and a garden hose out to the bushes. a slow trickle from dishes or a shower is far better than saving it up and dumping it at once. I wouldn't worry about filtering the chlorine, hair or red blood cells.
  • You walked into a buzz saw with that question.

We have a cottage on a pristine lake.
We use to have a bit of leeway with outhouses etc.

A few years ago they caught an idiot who had setup a trailer on his lot. He would dump the black tank into a big beer cooler, drag it into the woods and dump it.
    That's all it needed.
Now, no more outhouses. No more trailers. Full septic with mandatory pumpout every three years.

What you plan on doing ruins it for all.
