Sorry I was not clear. We are downsizing to a smaller home on property allowing MH to be there. We are on municipal water and sewer. My husband seems to think we can somehow tap into municipal line and maybe that is what some of you are saying.

Since this would be a plumbing matter and not an on-site disposal system, you could call a local plumber and see what's involved and what they might charge. There'll be a few code things to comply with like cleanout location, pipe slope & size, etc. It looks like according to NC regulations that the MH would be considered a residence.
FWIW, it also looks like NC allows a privy as per their septic disposal system regs. :)
