Duracell Ultra Battery Deep Cycle Battery (SLI24MDC)

I know Trojans are the best and I'm not trying to dispute that but wondering if anyone is using or familiar with the ones they sell over at batteriesplus.com? The SLI24MDC is the one we are looking at, it is a replacement to the Trojan SCS150. The SLI24MDC doesn't have the Ah, only 75Ah, and quality of the Trojan but we are pretty light on the energy we use (fridge, co2, couple LED lights are about it), only camp 1 or 2 times a month and maybe 5-6 months out the the year, use a generator for a couple hours each day with charger... and the price is right too at <$100.

Thanks.
  • That is a 45 LB battery. Most are around 67 LB's.

You should get two 6 volt batteries if you plan on doing any dry camping. If you are short on money try going to a golf cart repair shop and see if they have a couple used batteries that you can pick up for the core charge.
