ease towing a TT.
I just got to say. Those of you that have trouble towing a TT, You know sway and stuff. There is no possible way you have your TT setup right. You may wonder what makes me think that. We were talking about it at the Cg last Wed. They were fussin about how their TT moved around. I told them then. It wasn't the TTs fault, It was their setup. I don't understand why folks can't get it right.
As we have discussed for the past few days. I had a really bad trip home the other day. I blew 2 TT tires. And EVEN running on 3 tires I had -O- / ZERO sway. In fact the only thing I noticed on 3 tires. The TV worked harder. I thought the wind was blowing into the nose hard. It didn't wiggle, or move around, and I would have not known but for the people that told me about it.
The only time my TT moved around on me was when I drove thru the sever storm with 50 MPH cross winds that knocked down power lines, and trees in Charlotte. It doesn't move when trucks pass, even with out the sway bar on.
So I can only say. Take your time setting up your hitch, and balancing your TT. Get it right, and you too will have sway free towing. A TT should not sway at any speed, and a properly setup one won't.
And before you say. I have a small TT and big truck. I do not. I have a 30' TT, and a 145" WB F150, and it don't sway a lick.
