I wouldn't give any consideration at all to so-called negative comments you may have read about the Andersen No-Sway Hitch, particularly for a smaller trailer as you're intending to purchase. It's a well engineered system and just because some don't understand how it works doesn't mean that it's not effective. Hands down, it's the lightest WD system available and if you find it difficult to pick up an Equal-i-zer head you'd find it difficult to pick up any other WD head except the Andersen. IMO it's the no-brainer answer for those looking for an especially light weight system. Gotta say, now in my 7th decade I'm finding my Reese head awfully heavy and getting heavier every day :W and am seriously considering replacing it with an Andersen for that reason alone.
