Middle age family, weekend warrior except for a 40-50 day trip each summer. We never eat out on weekend trips. During our last summer trip, we ate out twice the entire time.
I won't kid anyone, the decision is based mostly on me being cheap. However, we also find it easier. We don't have to spend time finding a place, driving somewhere, scheduling meals. Eating at the camper gives us more of what we want in a trip...family time at the place we're camping.
