We are out about 150 days a year. I'm not sure what you mean by full service except for overpriced sub par food and wine. I spend my full service $$$ on restaurants near home that I know.
While on the road we spend our eating out dollars mostly at lunch, Subway or 5 Guys where we need a quick reliable meal. We do specialize in seeking out cheap Mexican/Sonoran/Santa Fe style food by asking locals. Like you, what comes out of our kitchen, off our grill or out of our wine cellar is far better than eating out.
