I bought a refurbished electric jack off ebay many years ago and a friend of mine bought new one a few months ago. Both worked out well.

But still with ebay, I would recommend caveat emptor. Dont buy from brand new sellers and check their rating. See if they have a real physical location and phone number.

Disclaimer- I have bought from new sellers and sellers with no physical location, but I weighed that risk against the price.

Also note, you can get crappy stuff from Amazon also. They are not perfect.

    X2

Been buying and selling on ebay since 1999 but I do avoid buying or selling anything that is overseas. Very minor issues have had more problems from the buyers. A physical location is not that important but feedback and time selling can be.
  • I have boughten two Chinese knock off's and both performed flawlessly lifting both truck and trailer up high enough to hook up chains or bars...depending on the trailer we had at the time.
  • Never a tongue jack unless you count the one that came with my trailer purchased off of eBay. I have purchased multiple vehicles and other items from eBay. Probably have funneled over $35,000 through eBay/PayPal.
