I too would expect a separate breaker. Check all breakers. When a breaker is tripped it is not obvious as the handle does not flip all the way to the OFF position. It just moves slightly off of the ON position.
If you are not getting any lights on the front panel then no doubt it does not have power. Could be breaker, could be plug came out, could be a loose wire, could be a bad power switch. If you can not find a tripped breaker or tripped GFCI plug, then look around the edges of the fireplace to see if there are screws that can be removed to allow the fireplace to pull out and let you see the power cord behind, assuming you are comfortable messing with electricity and such.
