I really doubt many of us will live long enough for the electric cars to be the norm. UNLESS they do become cheaper and more practical. I had a Volt, it was fun, it was fast, it got charged at a free spot at the casino we go to. Yes I worked it into our world with little problem. Long drives took the truck.
We will see many new cars in 2021 that are electric and will fit the mold BUT they will be to costly at 42,000 for a base model most will not be able to afford them. I for one (being retired) will get one although I really hate SUVs. They are like soccer vans of yesterday everyone has one.
