Of course it all depends on your needs. And I’m talking about the on topic needs of someone with an RV. Not a commuter. Not someone going to get groceries. I’m talking about someone making a trip across the country towing A fifth wheel. A truck camper. A class C. A class a.. Any of these.
There is no way an electric vehicle would work for any of that.
Don’t get me wrong. If I had a house and was just going around grocery shopping, dropping off kids, going to a job. I would have solar panels on my roof and I would charge my electric car from that. Without a doubt.
But I am concerned that there will be some regulation coming soon that will require all vehicles sold to be electric. Or zero omission. What does that do for RVs? If you look in Europe, there are plenty of places RVs simply are not allowed because they are zero emission areas. This concept could come here very easily. Especially with all the hype about electric cars.
