This new problem doesn't affect just Yahoo and Google. It affects any person who is on an email list that also contains a person with a Yahoo account. Yahoo sets the "p" setting to "reject" on that person's post. "Reject" means that if anything has been changed - like the subject - think "Re: - or the sending email - listserve software virtually always changes the sending address to their own when forwarding mail to list members - the receiving server (yours) will bounce the message.
So when the message that started out on Yahoo gets to your email host, depending on how it handles the "reject" setting, it may well bounce the message back to the listserver. Most listservers are programmed so that if you get a certain number of bounced messages, you will be deleted from the list.
Therefore ... this can mess up **everyone** who is on an email list, and it can cause problems under other situations as well.
