Just had this happen on April 4th...the morning DH was going in for his heart bypass surgery..
Got up at 6am, his brother and sister were with us in the RV...all of a sudden all four cell phones went off with "imminent" tornado warnings...then the siren in the small town we are close to started. We had little to NO time...we threw on what clothes were readily available, threw the dogs in the car, pulled in the slides and ran like "heck"!!!
I think I remembered my purse and we headed to the local convenience store...only thing open at that time...
All this while trying to keep DH calm so he didn't have a heart attack...NEVER want to go thru that again!!
