I know having a 43 foot fifth wheel is rather large,,, but we did not expect to have our own escort car....Actually,,, I told the wife let me get between the escort car and the 18 wheeler about a mile behind him... Gotta have a little fun while traveling.

Well I have about ten years on you but started at 39 yo and now take grands with me . You did it right enjoy your travels. I ask because I have a 3500 too and love the truck.

WOW!! that is a nice 5'ver... could easily be a fulltime rig.. and as far as the escort, I would almost want one pulling something that big/long.. My 28ft TT is very long sometimes.

The bunks are for my soon to be 3 year old. I am only 43... Still kinda old...lol. I waited until I retired from the Navy before having a kid so I would not be gone all the time.

John S, I pull it with my 3500 Ram. We were 27540 total when we hit the scales with full tank of fuel. Camper alone is right at 19K loaded with chow and other items.

Now that was funny...!!! As for only one door, the rear is a bunk room and the beds run lenght wise on the same side of the entry door, so a second door must not have been part of the big plan.
