EU 3000 Honda

You dont want the handi. Yes some places will install the remote for you before delivery. I bought mine at Weiss(?) but I think they are out of business. DO NOT leave the key on for more than a few days or a week as the battery will go dead because the remote module is powered up. It's a beauty of a machine. Wife fires ours up to run the hairdryer etc.

I hard wired an 8 gauge cord from a transfer switch out past the pin box that will reach the generator at the front of the truck bed. I also made an extension cord that can stay plugged into the generator yet will reach the back of the truck bed so I dont have to climb into the bed to twist lock the plug into the gen. It's long enough to let me place the rear of the truck away from the rig. Only problem with that is we sometimes forget to turn it off because we cant hear it.

I have to also say that I built a metal enclosure with a 120 volt axial ventilator fan so it helps cut the noise.

You might want to clarify just which Honda EU3000 you're talking about as there are two - the class leading EU3000iS and the much lighter but much noisier EU3000i Handi, known here in Canada as the EU3000iK.

As for remote control you can add one from Pinellas Power Products.
