And if they are on wells.....a power outage will leave you without water also.
First thing I do when I pull into my camp site is to fill the fresh water tank up. So when the CG has No electric/no water, I have a full tank of water and the gen, no sweat.
I've since added a 5 gallon gas tank to my preparedness kit after a CG I was at was without power for so many days that I needed more gas for the fuel tank for the gen. Easier to just go get fuel in the toad.
