An extended warranty is not worth the outlay in my opinion. I paid $2500 for ext, on my F250 pickup and nothing ever went wrong. You may have heard of Clark Howard who is on an Atlanta Radio show, plus he has a quip every weekday on TV and he advises against almost any extension.
