Their rule allowing campers was the reason we built our house there, most larger lot newer subdivisions require them to be inside a building. I think the neighborhood would stage a revolt if they decided to outlaw RVs parked outside, probably half the residents have them. It was bad enough when they tried to give us a violation for a rule that they created after we moved in, that said campers had to be behind a 6' privacy fence to block the view from the street. Nevermind we live on an acre, with the required 4' split rail perimeter fencing, and our trailer is 12'3" tall (ie a privacy fence isn't going to hide anything). After the uproar from us and a few others that were in before that rule got created, we were grandfathered in since we told them our plan was to eventually build an outbuilding to put it in. They don't need to know that that outbuilding is probably 7-8 years down the road LOL
