I've wondered if I could rent a camper in HI. Like I posted, at least for now my rules count tent camping before I got a PUP so I guess I could tent camp. I've only tent camped in NC and LA but got drenched in both so it definitely hard earned. In fact, I've probably got a 60+ days in tents in LA and easily 20 of those spent getting rained on.
