I'm the female, and I don't cook...much anyway. If it can't be cooked simply and in 5-10 minutes, it's not going to happen.
Some people are just homebodies. DH is the homebody here (and does most of the cooking). We usually go away for 9-10 weeks every summer. We came home early this year after 5 weeks. He was homesick. Any talk of possibly fulltiming or longer partiming comes from me. It'll never happen, though. He just can't do it.
Interesting thread title as I'm definitely an extrovert, and he's definitely an introvert. It does make it hard sometimes when these two personality types get together. If I were giving a young couple advice, I'd tell them to look long and hard if they're at two ends of the personality spectrum.
