As long as you use a hand operated grease gun, not a pressurized system and make slow steady pumps you won't damage your seals, inner or outer. I've used them for years with no blown seals. That's also why you repack your bearing, and inspect your brakes yearly.
Just because I have EZ lube doesn't mean I shouldn't check my bearings when I remove the hub to check my brakes' components. I'm there anyway.
