I repeat I would not have this system on drum brakes. With disks you can see the back side, with nearly three years of use ZERO leakage.
I agree with Ron and I've never had any issues with pumping grease into the EZ lube spindles. Simply jack up the trailer, spin the tire and start pumping. The grease will immediately start flowing outwards as it takes the path of least resistance.
