Here is what I have found out towing with my EZ-Pass. I have a RI EZ-Pass and they only configure it for a passenger vehicle.
In Mass, the old system would charge me a commercial rate, so I paid cash. New system, same rate for towing a TT or for commercial. It costs me 3x more now for the Masspike.
New York, it seems that if you go through an unmanned lane, it charges me for just a car. I feel so guilty....
Delaware River Joint Bridge Crossings, put your EZ-Pass in your static bag and pay cash, or they charge you for commercial.
Same thing with the Delaware Memorial Bridge.
