What seems to get lost in all of these threads/mindsets is whether, in extremis, I can STOP it!
Biggest issue that some folks don't want to accept in case of a 3/4 ton truck is they have the exact same brakes specs as the one ton SRW so with a 5600 FAWR and a 6100 RAWR the F250 can have 11700 lb of braking performance.
Also what gets lost is the trailers braking. A 15k GVWR trailer may have tandem 7k axle = 14k lbs of braking or 25700 lb combined braking performance.
Starting the load and stopping the load isn't the issue with the F250 in question but like all haulers using a 3/4 ton truck..... does the truck have the springs/wheels tires to carry the weight required.
