factory 5th wheel mounts
Hello all I am new to this forum and thank you for any input in advance. I have a 2012 ram dually. I am replacing my damaged pick up bed and with a 2016 dually bed that has the factory 5th wheel mount...

Correct, dont actually need the window frame, if you buy the hitch to fit the pucks... but if you already own the hitch, the frame acts like an adapter.
I ended up abandoning the pucks and installing the the hitch rails in the bed of the truck for other reasons, thankfully my curt was brand new and the dealer let me return the base.
