The IBC in my ram beats the pants off a prodigy II I had in my previous tow. It actually works with the brake pedal, versus what it "thinks" is happening based on a pendulum.
Trying to stop smoothly on a steep downhill driveway apron was never fun with the Prodigy, since the pendulum would be "swung" forward due to the downhill grade, and it would think I was jamming on the brakes. Not a problem for the factory controller that responds to pedal pressure.
