Factory Installed Integrated Brake Controllers

The one in my 2012 mega cab Ram was awesome.
The one in my 2016 one ton sucks. Well can't really say that

It worked great with our 2014 40' bunkhouse weighing in at 11K.
But when we upgraded to the new 2017 Sierra 42' 15,500K trailer it stopped working properly.
It's a known issue with the 2015-2016 rams. Some how the truck knows the weight of the trailer and decreases the amount of voltage going to brakes.
Removed the controller and installed after market and it works perfectly.
