the IBC in our 2015 denali beats the pants of the prodigy P3 I had in my 2004. WAY WAY WAY better braking control and smoother. Prodigy would NEVER ever give enough braking, even set on 10. IBC set at 5 is perfect, and can be set high enough to lock the trailer brakes.
One time a driver entered quickly in front of me on an on ramp, then decided to slam on his brakes and go to the shoulder. I hit the GMC brakes with ABS kicking in, collison alert system screaming, traffic in the left lane so I couldn't move over, he was half on the shoulder half in the traffic lane. came close but didn't hit him, and the trailer tracked straight as an arrow.
with the prodigy I suspect it would have been a much more tragic outcome.
Sold me on the IBC
