Favorite LED Lantern for Campsites ?

Looked up on Amazon several led lanterns - some are foldable, 4 in 1 lanterns (4 individual units used separately or together), square, Energizer, Coleman .. want one which is at least 11 inches tall.

Noticed some are solar, rechargeable, and others were D batteries.

So decided to come over here and ask y'all which ones you have and which ones you prefer or would get next time ..

I don't like to light up the neighbor's sites only my own. I like the directional light compared to a regular 360 degree lantern.

Comes with a magnet mount and a fold out wire hanger. Lasts for an entire weekend between charges. Includes both a 12vdc charging cord and a 120vac charging cord.

Ok, where do we get one of these ? ? .. love it as think that is what will work ..

Walmart is where I got mine. $20. I like it so much I bought 4 of them.

I imagine other places sell them also.
  • I have two Colleman gas lanterns one single and one double mantell, and also have one that the Nato forces use, that sucker can light the whole park at full power, also have the smaller kerosene lamps with citronella lamp oil, and a few kerosene yacht lamps.

Nice glow and no mosquitoes and no need for the generator, and have led's inside the RV when boondoking.

  • Anyone have any experience with the k-light solar lantern?
