We installed the Torklift Glo Step These are still supported by the ground but they store completely outside, so no need to clean the steps. Second reason I like these is I don't have the room to deploy the Lippert or Morryde version when it is stored inside our barn. Very well built and a great company too. Another option to look at.

x3 on the Glo Steps. Installed them this winter and will be trying them out for the first time when we head north for the summer. Installation on the Newmar was a bit of a PIA and required the use of a reciprocating saw for clearance due to the way the original steps were installed. Looking at some other trailers it looks like they would be a bolt-in conversion.
They are really solid, look nice, all outside and there is room to deploy them with another trailer beside ours in storage. I was turned off by the inside storage issue with MorRyde steps.
