Sorry design supersedes quality on this one. Glow steps and the steps you posted are essentially made of the same material. The difference is one is designed to be supported by the ground and one is not.
GSR's transfer the weight to the ground via the legs that extend to the ground. The hanging aluminum steps you posted do not reach the ground and are suspended in the air. Because they are just hanging they are subject to bounce. One can easily feel the motion and instability that goes along with the bounce when walking down a set of hanging RV steps.
While I'm not a fan of the MorRyde steps, they are stable because they extend to the ground
