Well,,,, this has been a fun thread. I hope I don't kill it and I apologize if I do.
I've found that the people that lock everything up are like that because they have had stuff stolen before. They think strangers and their neighbors are doing it. In reality it's their own kids and family doing it. They just don't want to admit to themselves that someone they know has a problem.
I once knew a husband and wife team that got really paranoid about things and for a long time didn't realize it was each other they were trying to protect themselves from.
Sorry I didn't explain this very well.
