I live on a five acre place 3.5 miles from town. When my insurance agent came out to look at and get information about the outbuildings and their contents (tractor, boat, camper and horse trailer) he told me that the biggest issue they had is people stealing trailers (camper, horse and such). He suggested a simple one of those things you insert where the ball would go and then lock. It's cheap insurance. He did say he had a client who they unbolted the ball receiver from the trailer to get past that locking device. That place must have been unoccupied for quite a while for them to do that.
