Wife and are in our late 60's. Last year heading out to Indiana for a factory repair visit. Everything seemed to be going wrong. In NY we had a flat tire. And our road service took a while to get there. That was the last straw. I was FUMING. As the roadservice guy was changing the tire (at night in the rain on the side of the New York Thruway all of a sudden there was a flash of light. Turned around to see DW snapping a photo of me watching the roadsetvice tech. She had a big smile on her face. "Honey...Just what the heck are you doing?" "Taking a picture for our trip log. Someday we'll laugh about this."
Those two sentences changed everything for us. We still remember that trip as the "trip to hell." Floods, heavy rains for days, Tornados, and some other crazy stuff. And when we tell the story guess what....We laugh.
