Fighting off boredom on the road

I don't think I have ever been bored traveling around this country, including the vast stretches of farmland in western Minnesota and across North Dakota. I don't know how you can get bored in four hours as I am not averse to traveling up to ten hours a day even through the above mentioned areas. I always seem to find something interesting in the terrain, whether it be flat plains or snow covered mountains. We talk about what is necessary to farm those countless thousands of acres, what kind of machinery is required, how folks live in such remote places with a Walmart or other shopping hours away. etc. Let your mind wander as you travel. Much to think and talk about wherever our travels take us.
