I think boredom or the lack of it is partly a matter of attitude that we have learned over many years. Not saying we never get tired of traveling but we find that getting to a destination is part of the enjoyment. We often take lesser traveled 2-lanes rather than interstates and take our time seldom covering more than 300 or so in a day. For example, used to think that going across Nebraska, Kansas, etc was the pits but getting off of I-80 or I-70 now we enjoy the great plains, the history, small towns, etc. Really 4 hrs is a pretty short journey for real RVers so maybe it's just not your thing? Been to Glacier NP many times; about 40 hrs.
