Hi,
My fresh water filler is just below my ladder, so I can use a motorcycle tie down to hold it up, and then bought a syphon at a trade show, to transfer the water into the tank.
I use blue 7.5 gallon tanks from Wal Mart. I have also used a small plastic clear hose that just fits into the tank outlet, to let the water flow from the tank into the RV.
For conserving grey water space, and also to save fresh water, you can wash dishes in a wash tub, then toss it on the grass like the tent campers do. Also while showering, I put the stopper in my tub/shower, and then scoop much of that water up (with my dishpan that is nearly as wide as the tub) to put into my toilet. And some of that water is saved in a 1 gallon jug to flush the toilet with at night.
Have fun camping!
Fred.
