Manual water filling is certainly cheap, but if you do a lot of boondocking, and get lazy, it may be detrimental to your black tank.
Every time you use the toilet, you may be thinking "I know I'm not supposed to get chintzy with flush water, but, the more water I use the the more I have to haul...and dump."
