Filmmakers sentenced

I think they got off easy.

30 days in jail would have been better.

You do know that an "Idiot" is born every 15 minutes in the country of ours. I refer to them as free thinkers who can't read signs, like do not got off walk way. I think they should have been banned from all our National Parks for at least 5 years.

they were removed from the boy scout leadership positions, plead guilty to lesser misdemeanor charges (original charges were felonies) and were sentenced to probation and unspecified fines. IMO they should have done at least some jail time.

Just to show that Karma sometimes does work as you would hope, Glenn had a disability lawsuit pending at the time. Somehow it didn't go anywhere after he became famous:

They are lucky they didn't fall through the crust like a 23 year old did last year.

Are the charges misdemeanor or felonies? I personally would have banned them from all parks for five years... and then sentenced them to prison until their ban was up.

They were vandals making a YouTube video
They are an insult to our Northern neighbours
Every nationality has some idiots
USA has more than enough of them

They got off entirely to easy and should have done their community service on a chain gang for a few months, this would have left a reminder to anyone else that wanted to do stupid things to public property. Of course the main stream media never carried this but probably would have if they got jail time because their rights were violated (somehow) and should have carried the story to begin with as a warning to future idiots.

Seriously, I believe they got off too light.
Nothing like a little time in jail (even if it were only a week), along with a hefty fine.

I thought it was a major motion picture that got in trouble. Instead just 4 idiots with access to the internet.
Either way they got off easy. And to make them work in the park is ridiculous. What kind of punishment is that? Have them pick up trash in a seedy area of a city, now that would be a punishment!
